READY FOR THE SAND
Kiwi motocross GP hero Josh Coppins is looking ahead to the next round of the world championships.
Round 11 is set for the deep sand track of Lommel in Belgium and that’s a place where Josh feels right at home.
“At the moment I’m training in the sand trying to get ready for Lommel. We are working hard and my mechanic is here and we are getting it better step by step.
“It’s been nice to have a few weekends away from travelling but I’ve been back and forth from the UK and Belgium a lot so still busy, busy.
“Last Saturday night I went to the world speedway champs at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. A big thanks to Monster for the passes. The racing was wicked and I was pumped to go as I’ve always wanted to but it seemed to always clash with a GP. Full respect to the riders – they are awesome.
“I rode at Lommel this week. It’s like a GP there right now as we are all trying to get it together for the next round.”
