Latvian GP racer Matiss Karro was top dog at Tanel Leok’s charity race at the weekend, humbling not only Leok himself but also star guest Stefan Everts and a flock of other GP high-flyers.
Well-remembered in n New Zealand after his stunning visit Downunder a couple of seasons ago, the former Junior World Motocross Champion won the overall at the Kose-Risti raceway with a stunning ride through the pack from 17th to second behind Jussi Laansoo in the opening 10-lapper and clinched the overall with another runner-up spot in race two, just failing to catch Yamaha factory MX2 runner Harri Kullas.
