Belgium’s Ken De Dycker delivered another perfect performance at the second round of the Dutch Motocross Championship in Halle at the weekend.

The Team LS Honda rider qualified in pole position and scored two dominant moto wins.

By the time he crossed the finish line in the opening moto the gap to second-placed Bas Verhoeven had built to 49.502 seconds.

Although De Dycker’s margin was somewhat smaller at the end of the second race -with a 21.661 advantage again over Verhoeven- this moto proved more satisfying in terms of set-up and overall bike feeling in regards to the first MX1 GP on the 10th of April in Bulgaria. This was De Dycker’s last race before the season starts.

“It was important to go out and get good results but it is even more important to get a good feeling before the start of the world championship,” said De Dycker.

“I really wanted to focus on the last bit of fine-tuning and that was the reason why I chose to race in Holland. With two heats we had some more time to do some testing in a racing situation. So now I’m really happy with the CRF450 and the settings we have. I look forward to carry this feeling into the season ahead.”
