GREAT BRITONS
Team Great Britain riders for the upcoming Motocross of Nations, Shaun Simpson (KTM) and Max Anstie (Kawasaki), ruled the day at the latest round of the British Motocross Championships at the weekend.
Both Simpson and Anstie (pictured here) went 1-1-1 for their day’s work and for Simpson it also gave him the British MX1 championship. Simpson is the defending champion so it is two in a row for the popular Scotsman.
The two will fly out to Mexico this coming week to contest the Mexican GP, before ending the GP season at Glen Helen, in Los Angeles, USA. Finally teaming up at the MXoN for Team GB at the end of this month.
New Zealand MXoN rider Kayne Lamont (Yamaha) finished 22nd, 32nd, 18th, to place 24th overall for the day in the MX2 class.
