Again we join current New Zealand Enduro Champion and many time Romaniacs competitor Chris Birch as he prepares to ride at the X-Games in Los Angeles.

In this fourth episode, Birchy’s nerves are flying as he watches riders practising on the track at the AMA Geiko National Enduro-X Series in Vegas. Chris performs well riding through the rocks and over the logs but is challenged by the double jumps over the tyres.

“Wow, just checking out some of the heat races,” said Birch.

“These are supposed to be the slow guys but they are jumping everything. Getting on the bike is just what I needed to do. All of this other stuff just gets into my head and I’m just not used to it, but once I get on the bike everything in the world just becomes right.

“I passed a lot of guys on the rocks so that feels good. I’ve got the matrix pretty dialled it’s just the jumps which are messing me up. I’ve learnt so much in one night, from my bike setup to the holes in my ability. Oh man, what an experience.”
