Australian Todd Waters chats ahead of his return to Grand Prix racing in Latvia this weekend.

It’s a big weekend for him, stepping in to replace the injured Brian Bogers, but not an overwhelming one because he has plenty of MXGP experience and a solid HRC Honda team behind him.

Earlier this year he contested two rounds of four in the New Zealand Motocross Championships, an incomplete campaign forcing him to settle for finishing 11th overall. His best result in New Zealand was at Taupo’s final round, where he finished with a 4-2-2 score-card, to finish the day third overall.
