The New Zealand motorcycling community once again got right behind efforts to raise funds to send a Kiwi trio to the Motocross of Nations, this season being held in England in October.

The Cambridge Motorcycle Club won the Battle of the Clubs motocross event in Taupo on Saturday, but special mention should also be made of the North Harbour Mini Motocross Club for getting the trophy for the Best Spirited Club.

There were a total of 30 club teams at this epic event, with a total of 30 teams on the main track and 25 teams on the mini track.
