SAIGER SHARES HIS THOUGHTS
Round one of the 2016 Suzuki Series at Taupo was a “bit of a challenge” for visiting international Horst Saiger, but he certainly made up for that with back-to-back wins the following weekend at Manfeild.
Now second in the Formula One/Superbike class standings and just three points behind defending champion Sloan Frost, and only five points ahead of street racing legend Tony Rees, it will be a close battle for outright honours at the final round on the streets of Whanganui on Boxing Day.
All Saiger has to do is catch Frost and beat Rees … and that’s easier said than done, especially with other riders such as Daniel Mettam, and Scott Moir to contend with also.
Here Saiger shares his thoughts with the crew at BikesportNZ.com.
