VIDEO TRIBUTES
Andrew McFarlane was one of the sport’s true gentlemen, always ready with a smile for his many fans and happy to chat with the media between races.
Sadly, he passed away, aged 33, last weekend, midway through his swansong season back in his home country of Australia. He was tipped to head into retirement at the end of 2010.
The photo above shows McFarlane in action at the Belgian GP at Namur in 2005, the year he finished as MX2 world No.2, behind Antonio Cairoli.
Here’s a video interview done with Andrew McFarlane last year.
And here’s an item about American motocross Danny “Magoo” Chandler, who also passed away this week.
