RAISING FUNDS
Fundraising for the Kiwi team for the Motocross of Nations is kicking into gear.
Geoff Hall, Scott Wilkins, Graeme Deans, Grant and Vicki Townley have formed a working party to help raise funds to assist the New Zealand MXoN riders with expenses for travel, bike freight, accommodation and team apparel.
Unknown to many, these hefty expenses have been picked up by the riders in the past.
“We hope fundraising will become an annual event that helps offset costs to the riders who proudly represent New Zealand at the Motocross des Nations each year,” said Vicky Townley.
MNZ is right behind the fundraising team, giving their full support to assist the MXoN riders in any way possible.
The Taupo Motorcycle Club is committed to help with the fundraising by hosting “The New Zealand Battle of the Clubs”, a day of racing based on the Motocross of Nations format.
