HOUNDS CHASING THE “FOXES”
It’s “Round Two for Two Man” this Sunday and a pack of chasing hounds are out for the blood of the round one winners.
On that occasion the winning “foxes” were BikesportNZ.com rider Joshua Jack (pictured here) and partner-in-crime Luke Mobberly.
The chasing pack notably includes the “Fog Dog”, Shaun Fogarty, and his young pup Aiden Kiff who have been hard out cross training to take over the series lead after finishing runners up at the Spectrum Motorcycles-sponsored event in Woodhill Forest in the first round.
Other notables will be the hard charging pair of Yamaha riders Callan May and Mitchell Nield and the early leaders in round one and last year’s champs, James Ainsworth and Chris Power.
Perhaps of special interest will be the solo class where Yamaha riders dominated the top positions.
Mokau BikesportNZ.com Yamaha rider Adrian Smith rode a calculated race to edge out fellow BikesportNZ.com Yamaha expert Adam Reeves, of Palmerston North, in round one and with Sam Brown in the mix the scene is set for a good old scrap over the food bowl going into the final at the end of September.
Add in Marton’s Cam Smith, Masterton’s Rueben Vermeer and Kawasaki’s Jason Dickey, of Raglan, onto the front line of the solo start grid and the whole fight for top dog becomes a mass brawl.
This race on a whole new track from round one then becomes very interesting indeed.
In the Junior and Ladies race in the morning look at current leaders James Scott and Daniel White to extend their points lead.
Solo and young lady entrant Emma Walling will be right up there behind from the get go. Emma is a hard charger and desperately wants an overall win this weekend so look out boys.
There are still lots of trophies to be won in the juniors/ladies classes so if junior wants a cool trophy to place over the mantel piece then get on up to the Spectrum Motorcycles-sponsored “Woodhill Two Man” this Sunday.
