Work is progressing smoothly at the new Hampton Downs Motorsport Park near Meremere.

The first coat of seal was laid this week.

“Black Top and Ross Reid Construction doing a great job,” said Hampton Downs Motorsport Park Ltd managing director Tony Roberts.

The fifth and final round of this season’s Castrol Power 1 New Zealand Superbike Championships are scheduled to run at Hampton Downs on March 27-28.
