Team Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence turned a lifelong dream into reality when he captured the 2022 250cc Supercross East Coast Championship crown.
Follow along in this video for a behind-the-scenes look as the young Australian wraps up an emotional first American supercross championship title with a round to spare when he finished runner-up to Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner and sealed the title in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the 8th round of nine in the East Coast AMA Supercross Championships two weeks ago.
The final race of the season is in Utah this coming weekend (May 7), the season’s second Dave Coombs Sr. East/West showdown.
It is a unique race that faces off 250SX class racers from both the Eastern and Western regions, and this will unify the two regions and determine the final overall 250cc championship winner for 2022.
