This weekend’s double-header Dirt Guide and NZ GNCC motorcycling events in the Kinleith Forest have had to be postponed.
The third round of the Dirt Guide Series and second round of the NXZ GNCC Series race on Saturday and the Ohakuri Trail ride on Sunday, the venue about halfway between Tokoroa and Taupo, will now be raced on November 23, with the trail ride the following day.
“The reason for postponing is that it is just too wet in the area,” said event organiser Sean Clarke.
“I have been out there this morning trying to set the event up and the side-by-side vehicle has been struggling to get around with all the tracks so muddy it is just like one big cake mix.
“With more rain forecast tomorrow, it won’t get any better.”
