There’s nothing easy about racing motocross in Australia, but Kiwi hero Maximus Purvis is giving it a great shot.
The Yamaha ace from Mangakino is making an impact in his Australian MX Nats campaign and he’s up to third overall in the highly-competitive MX Development (under-19) class after racing the third round of 10 in the series at Broadford, in Victoria, just over a week ago.
Purvis took his WRB Yamaha YZ250F to finish 1-6 in his two MXD races on the day at Broadford, good for fourth overall for the event.
The championship now moves to Murray Bridge in South Australia for the first of the double round weekends (rounds four and five) on May 4-5.
