THREE HOURS OF BATTLING
The rescheduled Suzuki Junior Three-Hour near Tokoroa at the weekend was a great success.
Waikato pair Andrew Barr and Luke Taylor (Gas Gas EC125) won the race ahead of Oparau team-mates James Scott and Daniel White (Kawasaki KX125).
Kotemaori pairing Sam Harrington and Reece Lister (KTM 125SX) finished third overall, with Rotorua’s Regan Hermansen and Connor Steens (KTM 125SX) and Te Awamutu pair Rachel Archer and Seton Head finishing fifth, the first of the small bike riders (on a KTM 85SX).
“It was a great day with 66 riders entered and they enjoyed perfect track conditions. The first three riders were in a tight battle all race with just over two minutes separating them at the finish,” said organiser Sean Clarke.
