BIKE TO BE RAFFLED
American Grand National Cross-country (GNCC) racing star Kailub Russell has announced that, if he wraps up the GNCC title early, he will raffle this bike and Kiwi rider Rory Mead will be a major beneficiary.
“I’m going to be riding this factory 150 at a race or two,” he said. “And the best part about it is, I have bought this bike and the suspension and will be selling raffle tickets at the last four races and be handing it over to a lucky individual after Ironman GNCC.
“I am going to split the money made from raffle tickets with Rory Mead and using the rest to help offset the cost of getting my wife and I to Argentina for International Six Days Enduro (ISDE).”
Mead seriously injured himself when he crashed at round three of the series in March this year and he remains in the United States where he is undergoing continued rehabilitation.
We will supply further details about the raffle and where and how to purchase tickets when the information becomes available.
