COMING TO NEW ZEALAND
Biggles Racing Team (BRT), Moto Academy NZ and Innovative Moto Developments (IMD) are thrilled to welcome international rider Marc-Antoine Jacquet to the team for the summer of 2014-15 to compete on the new and improved IMD250 in the 125GP/Pre-Moto3 class.
Jacquet raced for Moto Academy NZ and IMD on the prototype IMD250 during 2013 and the summer of 2014 and has really developed well as a new, young racer.
Hailing from Rotorua, Jacquet is half French/half Cameroonian and has just about finished his degree in Business studies at Auckland University.
Marc was the IMD250 development rider for the 2013 season. During 2014 NZSBK championship he showed glimpses of the abilities of both himself and the IMD250, running in 2nd place in several races and racing hard for 4th place at the end of several races.
His overall results in NZSBK 2014 were not as we had hoped, largely due to teething issues with the prototype IMD250, which we plan to have rectified for 2015, but we all think that he will be a much better rider with the experience behind him.
We hope that you will all get behind Marc-Antoine Jacquet and join us in welcoming him back to Moto Academy NZ and into the BRT for the coming summer.
