Again we join current New Zealand Enduro Champion and many time Romaniacs competitor Chris Birch as he prepares to ride at the X-Games in Los Angeles.

Birchy builds the jump that he struggled with in Vegas and gets Tauranga motocross coach Peter Broxholme in to help.

“The big thing I learnt from Las Vegas is that I need to bring up my jumping skills,” said Birch.

“It has made me realise something that I have avoided my whole life. In normal Enduro all we need to do is clear a certain distance, like jump a creek. It doesn’t really matter how you do it as long as you get there, where as in Enduro X you needed to land in particular way and place to set yourself up for the next obstacle. So now I need to pick up that whole side of riding that I kind of missed out on,” he said.
