It has been one heck of a year for Chad Reed.

The Australian started virtually from scratch to put together his own race team in the United States and then … would you believe it … he led the AMA outdoor motocross championships early on.

He survived an horrific crash and eventually had to take a bow to the might of the two Ryans – Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey – but still he fought back.

He went to the Motocross of Nations in France as Australia’s MX1 rider and won the first moto of the weekend as he led his country to its first podium finish at the great event.
