MARAMARUA THREE-DAY
Want to see the nation’s elite enduro and cross-country racers go head-to-head over three full days?
Head on off to the Hauraki Plains region for the Honda Maramarua Three-Day Enduro, starting tomorrow, where you will expect to see Taupo’s Rory Mead, Whangamata’s Jason Davis, the Power cousins from Auckland and Paeroa, Karl and Chris, the Nield brothers from Hokianga, Damon and Mitchell, and Auckland cross-country hero Sam Greenslade all locked in fierce dirt bike combat.
Tokoroa’s Jesse Clarke, son of Kiwi enduro legend Sean Clarke, will be sure to spice up the junior class action.
The December 3-5 event runs in the Maramarua Forest in Northern Waikato, with the Forest HQ about nine kilometres from the Maramarua township on State Highway 2.
This is billed as the only true multi-day enduro in New Zealand and runs to international rules, with designated work periods, special tests and more.
The venue is within a short driving distance from Pokeno (20 min), Paeroa (40 min), Thames (35 Min) and Pukekohe (45 min).
