Extreme weather in September has caused the big annual Suzuki Six-Hour Dirt Bike Challenge to be postponed until November 6.

The event organisers apologise for any inconvenience caused to those planning on racing this event but assure entrants and spectators alike that rider safety and comfort had to come first.

The rough weather had also made it almost impossible to prepare the venue.
