MX RACING IN CHINA
November will be a big month for New Zealand motocross riders Callum Moore and Liam Harnett.
The two talented young Kiwis motocross riders head off to China to race in the 2010 China International Motocross event at Wuyi, Zhejiang Province, in China, on November 5-7.
Moore (pictured above), from Featherston, and Harnett, from Lower Hutt, will both race in the International Open Group MX2 class races. They will be managed by former Motorcycling New Zealand motocross commissioner Mike “Big Mac” McLeod.
This event is sanctioned by the State General Administration of Sport and FIM, organised by Chinese Motor Sports Association (SMSA), co-organised by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Wuyi County.
With the aim being to elevate the sporting level of Chinese riders and enrich the profile of the event, the CMSA has strived to achieve new levels and inviting riders from around the world has helped to realise this.
The event has not only boosted the enthusiasm of Chinese motorsports fans, but also promoted the development of motocross in China as well as across Asia.
