BUILDING FOR THE BATTLE
Here is an update on Team Kiwi fundraising for the 2010 Motocross of Nations, set for Colorado in September.
The Taupo Motorcycle Club is committed to help with the fundraising by hosting “The New Zealand Battle of the Clubs”, a day of racing based on the Motocross of Nations format.
The club is inviting each motorcycle club in New Zealand to enter this great fun event.
Teams comprise of 3 riders in each of the following categories:
Junior Team 1 of each: Jnr 85cc – Jnr 125cc – Jnr 250 4 stroke.
Senior Team 1 of each: MX2 – MX1 – Vets.
Junior & Senior club team combined entry fee: $300 – paid by their club.
A gold coin donation by everyone who enters the Digger McEwen circuit, so bring along heaps of supporters to cheer the riders on.
As soon as the MBNZ permit is formalised, the entry form will be available for download for your club team to enter …
(so riders can get underway with training and team tactics in their bid to take out the title).
New Zealand Battle of Clubs 2010 Saturday May 29 at the Taupo Motorcycle Club – Digger McEwen MX track.
There is also a NZ Motocross of Nations 2010 team logo design competition.
Please submit your design concepts for the 2010 MXoN team logo to the official website, www.teamnzmx.com
This will be part of an online voter’s selection for the winning design concept.
The winning design will be used as the 2010 MXoN team logo, on the website, team clothing and supporters apparel
