The Revo Kawasaki race team, including Kiwi ace Dylan Walsh, lined up at round one of the AMA Motocross Championships at Pala in California.
The man from Canterbury ended up 18th overall in the MX2 class, just one place behind fellow Kiwi and the only other New Zealander in the mix, Tauranga’s Josiah Natzke.
Walsh twice finished 18th, while Natzke went 19th and then 15th.
Australian Jett Lawrence (Honda) won both 250cc races, while his brother Hunter Lawrence (Honda) finished 2-2. Japan’s Jo Shimoda (Kawasaki) finished 4-3 for third overall.
Round two of the AMA Motocross Nationals is this weekend at Prairie City SVRA, Rancho Cordova, California.
Meanwhile, enjoy this behind-the-scenes footage with Walsh (pictured here) and his British crew.
