Heading into the final two rounds of the 2021 MXGP season, Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings was sitting three points behind the championship leader.
It all came down to a straight shootout between KTM rider Herlings and Frenchman Romain Febvre (Kawasaki) to determine who would etch their name onto the MXGP trophy for 2021.
This 12th episode of “Behind the Bullet with Jeffrey Herlings” gives a personal behind the scenes account of just what it takes to compete at the pinnacle of motocross (and view episode 11 here too, just in case you missed seeing it earlier).
Experience all the highs and lows of a gruelling MXGP season with a first row seat with one of the fastest riders on the planet.
Herlings won the MX2 world championship title in 2012, 2013 and 2016 and he won the MXGP world crown in 2018 and, of course, again this year too.
