Dutchman Jeffery Herlings is considered something of a rock star in the sport of Grand Prix motocross.
Already with one world championship to his name, his 2020 MXGP campaign was derailed by an accident during practice in Italy.
Herlings was a member of the winning Dutch team at the 2019 Motocross of Nations event that included Glenn Coldenhoff and Calvin Vlaanderen. Their victory that weekend at Assen, in The Netherlands, marked the first Dutch win in the 73-year history of the Motocross of Nations.
In this video, the 26-year-old Herlings reflects on his harrowing 2020 crash and the subsequent injuries as he seeks to regain his swagger and aims to bring the MXGP title back home to Red Bull KTM.
