TOWNLEY GOOD TO GO
New Zealand’s Ben Townley has reported to BikesportNZ.com that rumours of his suffering a serious injury have been wildly exaggerated.
He says the so-called injury is “not even worth mentioning. I’ll be good to go at the Motocross of Nations”.
Townley was one of the Team New Zealand riders when the silver fern flag last flew on the podium at the Motocross of Nations, in England in 2006, and he, along with team-mates Cody Cooper and Kayne Lamont, have a realistic chance of being among the featured teams in France in just over seven weeks’ time.
