Here’s the final installment of the Chris Birch project.

Current New Zealand Enduro Champion Chris Birch returns from the X Games in Los Angeles after designing and constructing NZ’s first replica Enduro X track.

Over six episodes we joined current New Zealand Enduro Champion and many time Red Bull Romaniacs competitor Chris Birch as he prepared to compete for his first time at the X Games, Los Angeles.

In this, the final episode, Birchy is in LA ready to compete in the men’s Enduro X competition. The track surprises riders with more supercross jumps and less Enduro elements than expected, and becomes wet before race time. Chris walks away proud to be our New Zealand competitor.

“Yup, this is the day, the X games Enduro X race. I just had a bit of a sneaky look at the track. There’s BIG super cross jumps, it looks cool though. There’s two ten minute practice sessions and then it’s straight into the qualifiers, last chance qualifier, and then the main event. So yeah, it’s basically a super cross track with a couple of log and rock sections thrown in. In about 10 minutes, I’ll be racing in X Games!” said Birch.
