During the MXGP of Sardinia in Italy at the weekend, starts were once again dominated by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.
This time around, Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings took the holeshot in race one, while Spain’s Jorge Prado was quick out of the gate in race two and claimed the second one.
Meanwhile, in the MX2 class, French rider Tom Vialle was undefeated in both races and the two holeshots helped him on his way to a third consecutive GP victory.
Prado leads the MXGP holeshot classifications with 10 holeshots, five points ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre.
Meanwhile in MX2, it’s Vialle with the most points (7), four points ahead of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Mattia Guadagnini.
The holeshot competition will continue at the MXGP of Germany in a couple of weeks’ time at round 11 of the FIM Motocross World Championship!
