Once again this week we see that it’s non-Americans dominating the national motocross championships series in the United States.
Frenchman Dylan Ferrandis won the day in the 450cc class at round five at Southwick, Massachusetts, scoring 1-3 results on his Yamaha, while German Honda rider Ken Roczen finished overall runner-up with 4-2 results and kept his title bid on track.
Third overall inn the 450cc class at Southwick was US Gas Gas rider Justin Barcia.
Ferrandis continues to head the 450cc rankings from Roczen.
In the 250cc class it was young Australian Hunter Lawrence (Honda, pictured here) leading the way, finishing with unbeatable 1-1 results, and ending the day ahead of Japanese rider Jo Shimoda (Kawasaki), who chimed in with a 3-4 scorecard.
The championship leader in the 250cc class, Hunter’s brother Jett Lawrence (Honda), finished the day at Southwick with 9-3 results and he maintains his position at the top of the standings.
