The 2019 Motocross of Nations at Assen was always going to prove to be a real challenge for the American riders who weren’t used to riding on sand tracks.
Team USA finished only sixth overall at the MXoN in The Netherlands this year – their eighth straight “defeat” – but their manager, Belgian Roger De Coster, remains determined to bring the MXoN title back to the United States.
The weird thing is, De Coster is a European and it is a European rider too, Frenchman Marvin Musquin, whom he dedicates much of his time to as manager of KTM USA.
