British Husqvarna rider Max Anstie has won the final race of this year’s Motocross of Nations in the UK on Sunday, but it was Team France who took home the Chamberlain trophy for the fourth year in a row, only the third team to do so in the 71-year history of the event.
Team France, with Romain Febvre, Gautier Paulin and Christophe Charlier, really dominated the competition, and were easily the best nation. They won with 20 points, and followed by Team Netherlands with 31pts and Team Great Britain with 32pts.
Class winners were Max Anstie with 1-1 in the MXGP class, Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings going 1-2 for the Open class and young Australian Hunter Lawrence with 4-8 in the MX2 class.
