BUCKING BRONCO
When the going gets tough and the bike bucks hard, the tough go rodeo riding?
Taupo’s Wyatt Chase gets out of shape as he exits this corner at round two of the New Zealand Motocross Championships in the Manawatu on Sunday.
He salvaged the situation and snapped the bike back on line, carrying on to post 3-2-2 results in the 125cc class.
He is now up to second in the championship chase, 28 points behind Ngatea’s Ben Broad as the series reached the halfway stage.
The second half of the Kiwi motocross calendar takes riders to the Rotorua Motorcycle Club’s track for round three on March 13, with the fourth and final round set for the Digger McEwen Motocross Park facility, on the outskirts of Taupo, on March 20.
