NATZKE SEVENTH IN RACE ONE
Race one in the European 125cc Championships at Matterley Basin, the British Grand Prix, this weekend has been run.
New Zealand’s Josiah Natzke finished seventh in this first of two legs of the EMX125 race action at Matterley, despite leading for the early part of the race.
The race was won by French Yamaha rider Maxime Renaux, finishing ahead of Natzke’s KTM team-mate, British rider Conrad Mewse.
Series leader and also a team-mate of Natzke, 14-year-old Spanish rider Jorge Prado, finished just ahead of Natzke in sixth.
The second race is still to come.
