The Value Cars Nut Buster Extreme Enduro is back; bigger, tougher and more extreme than ever before.

On September 28, New Zealand’s most determined off-road motorcycle riders will battle against the rugged and diverse wilderness that can be found at the foot hills of the Southern Alps.

Riders will be tested to their limits against forest trails, alpine tracks, tussock, rolling hills and rocky creeks. Now in its fourth year, the Nut Buster 2013 will kick off the national KTM Extreme Enduro Series to decide New Zealand’s most extreme enduro riders.

Extreme enduro is a relatively new off road motorcycle sport that pushes rider and machine to their limits. Riders use their skill and determination to drag their bikes across the most arduous terrain imaginable.

The Nut Buster has earned a reputation as a well organised and unique event. Race director James Petrie has been astounded by the early interest for 2013.

Value Cars Warehouse are back as the main sponsor and big name riders are queuing up for a crack at the title. Some riders come to race and test themselves against New Zealand’s fastest enduro riders; others just to complete the gruelling course.

Track designers Mark MacDonald, Steve Grossi and their team have been hard at work creating yet another unforgettable experience. With a mixture of high country, rivers, forest, mud and rocks, Woodstock Heights provides a perfect venue for the South Island’s premiere extreme enduro event.

The course has been designed to test the riders on natural and demanding terrain. The Nut Buster has a class for everyone, with the course being achievable and enjoyable for all those keen to enter. There are deviations for expert and pro classes that will test these riders to their limits.

Spectator access has come in for special attention this year. With such amazing scenery, terrain and talent on show, viewing accessibility has been given some priority so it’s important that people come along to support the riders and witness this spectacular event.
