Bay of Plenty extreme freestyle and motocross Guinness world record holder Mary Perkins is embarking on a competition with a twist.

‘Scary Mary’ Perkins and her fiancé Joel Wanhill are seeking to take out Life FM’s Recession Proof Wedding competition and win $25,000 towards their wedding. Far from your average couple, the adventure-seekers describe some of their interesting dates as playing four-square in hospital as Mary recovered from two broken legs.
